We love heading to Disney Springs for a quick snack when we’re not feeling a busy theme park.

Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Churro
And while we love Disney, one dessert is a close second – Dubai Chocolate! So when we saw there was a new Dubai Chocolate Churro at Disney Springs, we had to try it!
The Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Churro is $7.99 at Sunshine Churros. It’s a warm churro rolled in strawberry sugar that’s drizzled with chocolate sauce and pistachio cream, then topped with kataifi. This limited-time churro is the Flavor of the Month for May, which means its last day is May 31st.

Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Churro
The churro itself was pretty dry, and while it was crunchy, we felt it was more on the stale side. However, the strawberry sugar was the star of the show – it was strong, fruity, and sweet. The chocolate drizzle added some sweetness, but the pistachio drizzle was very faint. We didn’t get much pistachio flavor, just a small nutty aftertaste. The kataifi typically adds the crunch in Dubai Chocolate, but ours got soggy from all the sauces.

Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Churro
If you’re a die-hard Dubai Chocolate fan, then this probably isn’t the churro for you! The flavor profile is mostly strawberry and chocolate, which made this churro taste a lot like a chocolate-covered strawberry with a little salt on top. We barely got any pistachio taste, and the katiaifi was underwhelming. However, if you’re a chocolate-covered strawberry fan, then this churro is perfect for you!
Chocolate-Covered Strawberry at Disney’s BoardWalk
The Strawberry Dubai Chocolate Churro is $7.99 at Sunshine Churros. This churro cart has two locations at Disney Springs: one in the Marketplace and another on the West Side. No matter which one you visit, you’ll find a variety of Churros in specialty flavors such as watermelon, Fruity Pebbles, and more, in addition to the traditional cinnamon! Our favorites are the permanent Oreo Cheesecake Churro, Fruity Pebble Churro, and Strawberry Cheesecake.

While this churro wasn’t what we expected, it was a unique dessert. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more Disney food reviews!
