EPCOT is home to some of our favorite snacks in all of Disney World, especially since you can travel into World Showcase and basically get snacks from all around the world!
Who’s ready for a sweet treat?
The Mexico Pavilion is home to some of our favorite snacks, but if you’ve been a big fan of the Churro Sundae there, you need to know that it’s CHANGED. It may not look like how it did before, but we can vouch that it’s still delicious!
Over at La Cantina de San Angel, the quick-service location in the pavilion, you can grab the Churro Sundae for $7.99. This has been a favorite of ours for a while, but previously, you could get it with lime soft serve. Now, that’s no longer the case.
Churro Sundae with lime soft serve is no longer available
Now, you can choose between chocolate soft serve, vanilla soft serve, or a swirl of both! We chose to get the vanilla for ours, and it still came with the beloved churros on top, chocolate sauce, and was complete with sprinkles. This melted nearly IMMEDIATELY, and we’ve honestly never seen something collapse on itself so far, but hey, that’s the name of the game with soft serve.
The vanilla version of the Churro Sundae
The ice cream is the standard vanilla ice cream that you find around the parks. We do feel it’s important to note that while the other flavors are available, we weren’t asked which we wanted, so it’s possible you will need to ask before ordering. The churros were half soggy, half pretty crunchy, which was to be expected since they were half submerged in ice cream. It was pretty big for 8 dollars, and it is definitely unique and good for sharing between two people.
We suggest eating those churros first!
However, if you usually have an issue with textures, this won’t be the treat for you, since you’ll likely not want to eat the churros…and that’s the unique part of the treat. You’ve also really got to be a fan of ice cream for this one, so while we enjoyed it (minus the intense melting), we do feel there are other solid snack options in the park.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all the latest Disney news and reviews, so stay tuned to Magical Guides!
