The U.S. Department of State has released new travel advisories, crucial for anyone planning upcoming trips.

Be aware: travel advisories are issued for various reasons, such as crime or unrest in other countries, requiring travelers' attention. Although these recent advisories don’t affect Disney vacation spots, they remain important for anyone planning an international journey.

The U.S. State Department has updated advisories for Madagascar and Sudan. As of September 27th, Madagascar is at Level 3, which advises reconsidering travel due to crime and unrest. On October 15th, the advisory for Sudan reached Level 4, advising against travel due to crime, armed conflict, terrorism, landmines, and health issues.

Here are the advisory levels used by the State Department:
- Level 1: Exercise Normal Precautions
- Level 2: Exercise Increased Caution
- Level 3: Reconsider Travel
- Level 4: Do Not Travel

While these advisories don't impact Disney destinations, similar warnings have been issued for those spots in the past. It's always a good idea to check the State Department's website for the latest travel updates or stay tuned to our updates for more information.
