Disney announced that MORE Bluey is coming to Disney+, and it’s coming as soon as next week! Get ready to dive into more stories with the beloved Blue Heeler family that has captured the hearts of so many. Disney+ will be debuting more Bluey mini-episodes, as well as a STAGE SHOW — let’s look at the details!
Disney+ is expanding its Bluey offerings with new content arriving both this month and later this summer. Disney just announced that Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show will be premiering on the streaming site on March 16th. This stage show is a special televised version of the popular touring theatrical production, featuring live performances of fan-favorite Bluey characters brought to life by world-class puppeteers.

Bluey’s Big Play – The Stage Show is an original story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and music specially composed by Joff Bush. The special is produced by BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions in association with Ludo Studio, Andrew Kay, and Windmill Theatre Co., and is distributed internationally by BBC Studios, with executive producers Tom Cousins and Anna Perowne. There’s actually a trailer out right now, if you want a sneak peek before its premiere!
The Bluey fun doesn’t end there. Disney also announced that a previously released collection of ten Bluey Minisodes will be available for the first time on Disney+ starting on May 20th. The series of mini episodes is currently only available online and in Australia, but it’s finally coming to the streaming platform!

Bluey Minisodes is a collection of short-form, one to three-minute episodes of the beloved family. The series is produced by Ludo Studio. The shorts highlight funny and sweet moments, leaning into playful interactions and games that further explore the characters and world of Bluey. The collection includes: Humpty Dumpty, Green Bottles, Flying Saucer, Tea Party, Pea Pod Sausages, Old Macdonald, Honk, Lollipop Song, Cinderella, and Make Mum Laugh. You can actually check out the previously released Bluey Minisodes that are currently available on Disney+.
