We’re dedicated festival-goers in Disney World, which means we’re there on opening day for each EPCOT festival.

Welcome to the festival!

Recently, we kicked off the 2026 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival with our whole team. We ate at EVERY food booth, trying dozens of new items and many returning favorites, and all in all, we spent $767.80 just to dine around the park. Along the way, we learned some important things!

What We Spent

When we visit EPCOT for festivals, we typically aim to eat at every food booth around the festival. Most of the time, these booths have new items for us to try, but occasionally we visit a spot where we’re just eating the same old favorites from years past. Even when booths have new items, we sometimes order the returning items in addition to the new — just to see how they stack up or if they’ve changed at all.

Farmers Feast

This year, that added up to 94 individual items across 31 different locations around EPCOT. That’s a LOT of snacking! With our whole team, it took about 7.5 hours to get all those locations accomplished, in addition to the other entertainment, activities, and sights that the festival has to offer. We were hustling, y’all.

With 94 different items and a total of $767.80 spent, that’s an average cost of $8.16 per item. The most expensive thing we had was the English Garden for $17.50 at Yorkshire County Fish Shop, and the cheapest was the Lemon Tart for $4.49 from The Citrus Blossom.

If you’re heading to the festival, you can expect to spend on average $6-$10 each for the food items, $6 for a 6-oz pour of a beer, cider, or ale, and between $11-$15 for the specialty cocktails. Keeping those numbers in mind will help you budget wisely.

What We Learned

First, it’s important to note that not every food or drink item is worth the cost. Depending on your personal tastes and the quality of the items, you may not actually want to pay to eat at every food booth when you visit, and that’s totally okay. We typically advise people to look at the menus, check out our Best of the Fest list (we publish one after every festival; you can see the Flower & Garden one here!), and make a short checklist of items your family must-try.

Let’s eat!

If each person in your party is getting an individual budget, you could add that to a Disney gift card. At each EPCOT festival, you can purchase reloadable gift cards on wristbands, so they’re easily accessible when you’re going from booth to booth. You can also buy gift cards in advance from places like Sam’s, Costco, or Target to get a discount!

Flower and Garden Gift Card!

A big warning for your budget is that eating around an EPCOT festival can quickly become more expensive than eating in the other parks. The food dishes are designed to be small plates so you can order more items, and often, ordering 2-3 festival items is more expensive than ordering ONE entree from a Disney World quick service spot. Drinks can also get pretty pricey, with some higher costs on those specialty alcoholic drinks.

However, the Flower & Garden Festival can be a great deal financially if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan using snack credits. Many of the food booth items are redeemable for one Dining Plan snack credit, and if the item costs more than $8-$9, it would be a GREAT use of a snack credit.

At the end of the day, we choose to spend the big bucks on day one of the fest so that we can relay all the best times and honest reviews to you guys! By spending opening day hustling through the park, we are able to provide valuable EPCOT festival info for our readers so they can have the best visit possible. That’s what we do, and we love it!
