Walt Disney World is well known for its litany of dining options, with restaurant’s across the property’s parks and hotel offering options for every pallet and budget… including those looking for a comfort food traditional diner-style meal without breaking the bank.

AMAZING

Located at the Walt Disney World Dolphin hotel, The Fountain captures the vibes of a classic American diner, complete with vinyl stools, glittering tables, a long countertop, and even a neon sign.

The Fountain offers various classic seating configurations in the restaurant, including tables, the aforementioned countertop, and classic booths.

The restaurant’s menu features a full rundown of classic diner favorites with appetizers including Pretzel & Cheese Dip and Queso Tots,

The Fountain even offers the Diner classic Disco Fries. However, the diner’s star attraction is the Fountain Smash Burger. This $21 delight is a filling meal in and of itself, featuring a certified Angus Beef patty (or a meat-free Beyond Burger) covered in griddled onions, crispy lettuce, tomatoes, and American Cheese, all served on a locally baked bun.

Last time we had the burger, we loved it! The cheese was amazingly melted, the bun was nice and soft, the patty tasted hand-pressed and fresh, and the veggies were delicious.

Look at that burger… droooool

Like any good diner, The Fountain offers a full menu of delicious sweets to finish off your meal, including a wide range of milkshakes all under $20. These aren’t just chocolate/vanilla/strawberry either.

Milkshakes!

There’s the Blueberry Cheesecake (featuring cheesecake ice cream, blueberry jam, graham cracker crumble, whipped topping, fresh blueberries, and a cheesecake wedge), The King (peanut butter ice cream, toasted marshmallow fluff, chocolate whipped topping, banana, and a Reese’s Cup), Key Lime Pie (key lime ice cream, lime curd, graham cracker crumble, a slice of key lime pie, whipped topping, and candied lime), and our personal favorite, Banana Pudding (banana ice cream, vanilla pudding, whipped topping, Nilla Wafers, and a fresh banana).

Now, all that being said, if you find yourself tempted by The Fountain, there are a few things to know. The restaurant does not participate in any of the Disney Dining Plan options, and does not accept MagicBands, Disney Gift Cards, or any other Disney stored value cards for payment. Also, keep in mind that there’s a fee to park at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.

But if you are staying at these hotels, this is seriously the perfect spot to grab a quick and delicious bite to eat that won’t break the bank!!
