A theme park is coming to Mexico this fall, and it promises to be something BRAND NEW on the theme park landscape.

BON Luxury Theme Park at VidantaWorld Nuevo Nayarit in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, is promising to be the world’s first luxury-focused theme park, featuring attractions, fine-dining options, and entertainment offerings.

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

Let’s begin with the BON(Beauty of Nature)’s rides, the core element of any theme park. According to the park, there are scheduled to be just over 20 of them, with some of the confirmed rides including:

  • Floresta Drop: A family-friendly thrill ride that will plunge from above on petal-topped drop towers.
  • Vista Wheel: A take on the traditional Ferris Wheel featuring two types of cars: one that provides “a calm, scenic experience” or others that provide a thrilling experience with moving cabins.
  • Carousel of Colors: A carousel of Alebrijes (brightly-colored Mexican folk art statues) arranged in a vibrant color wheel where guests can “choose the magical creature that speaks most to them and let their heart guide the ride.”
  • Tempest Towers: A dual drop tower that plunges riders into “a swashbuckling adventure where the sea meets the sky!”
  • Izari’s Flight: A magical family-friendly coaster where guests soar through a crystal cave from a “magical iguana’s point of view.”
  • Delia’s Adventure: A whimsical ride that will tell the story of a spirited girl on a mission to save the Firefly Festival.
  • Toca Tambo Falls: A water flume where guests will drum in harmony with their team to race ahead in this competitive aquatic adventure.
  • Speed of Light: A suspended coaster that will bring guests on a jungle adventure illuminated by beaming lights.
  • Ashara: Goddess of Fire: A roller coaster where riders will experience twists, turns, and the power of a Jungle Goddess.

In addition to the rides, the park will also be home to a new Cirque du Soleil show called LUDÕ. This water-themed dinner show will combine Cirque du Soleil’s artistry alongside a culinary experience, all inside a custom-built theater featuring a wrap-around aquarium.

The park’s site will also be home to several restaurants (Azami featuring fresh sushi and poke bowls, Tacoco, offering authentic Mexican favorites, and Golden Grill offering upscale American fare), as well as two hotels.
