From listening to Cast Members and following safety instructions to keeping belongings in check and maintaining proper ride etiquette, if you do these things, you’re a gold star Disney guest as far as we’re concerned.
Barring an emergency, there’s really no reason for anyone to take a phone call while on a ride. Beyond that, there’s no reason to be scrolling a bright smartphone while on a dark ride.
Would you join their ghostly ball?
Speaking of dark rides, there’s also a reason pretty much everyone warns guests against flash photography. No, it won’t make the animatronics lose their robo-minds, Simpsons style, but it will totally ruin the atmosphere for everyone else on the attraction.

Whether it’s the Haunted Mansion’s stretching room, the auction scene in Pirates of the Caribbean, or any of the other memorable moments across Disney World’s attractions, we’ve all dealt with the person who decides they need to loudly recite the dialogue of a scene, to the point where it drowns out the audio.
Don’t talk here!!!
When it comes to Walt Disney World ride vehicles, it’s important to have everything packed up and tidy so it’s easy to get in and out of the ride vehicle quickly. This goes double for thrill ride vehicles, where it’s important to keep things secured — including hats and glasses — so they don’t fly off and potentially injure yourself or other riders.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
When Cast Members call for guests to move all the way down their row or to the middle of the floor, they’re doing so for a reason, usually regarding capacity, so it’s best to follow their directions.
Carousel of Progress Seats
Speaking of listening to Cast Members, it’s important to go to whichever seat or row they assign you on a given ride. Of course, if you have a specific seat/row you’d like to sit in, you CAN request it. However, be aware that it may be unavailable, and there are no guarantees you’ll get it.

This last one is a bit more fun! If you know where the on-ride photo cameras are on any given ride, you can strike the best possible pose (as long as you’re not breaking any rules) to get the most memorable shot possible!
