Disney World is seeing a wave of closures and transformations! Some experiences may be gone for good, but we've finally got an opening date for a brand-new one.

Disney's Animal Kingdom has bid farewell to "It's Tough to Be a Bug" to pave the way for "Zootopia: Better Zoogether!" set to premiere on November 7th, 2025. As excitement builds for this new show, it's also notable to witness overlay renovations in EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT's Spaceship Earth will close for maintenance on August 25th, leaving guests without this classic experience during the Food & Wine Festival. Meanwhile, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom is shut for updates, bringing new ride scenes and features in 2026.

Other areas, like the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island, are making room for the upcoming "Cars" area, Piston Peak National Park. While some changes are met with nostalgia, others ignite curiosity for what's to come.

The Muppet *Vision 3D area at Hollywood Studios has closed for a new "Monsters, Inc." land, promising fresh entertainment soon.

With all these changes, some might argue there's a bittersweet balance of keeping the magic alive while evolving with new projects.

What are your thoughts on these changes? Excited or disappointed about these updates? Share your opinion!
