Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is launching the brand-new Magic Run Fest – presented by AIA Vitality later this year, and Disney runners are going to want to be a part of this first-ever event! So, why is everyone booking a trip to Hong Kong right now? Because registration opens NEXT WEEK! Let’s take a look at all the details we know.
The first-ever Magic Run Fest at Hong Kong Disneyland will take place on November 28th through 29th, 2026, evolving from the Disney resort’s beloved annual 10K Weekend. The reimagined running festival invites guests, diehard fans, casual joggers, and avid runners from all around the world to embark on a journey through the park’s immersive themed lands alongside beloved Disney friends and Pixar pals.

The festival will have a lineup of themed races designed for participants aged 3 and above. The themes will include the Zootopia 10K, Pixar 5K, Duffy and Friends 3K, and Frozen 3K. As you run, beloved characters will cheer you on at every turn. Public registration will officially open on July 29th and will be available up until September 27th, 2026. Guests who register on or before August 4th can enjoy an early bird offer.

“We are delighted to extend our long-standing alliance with HKDL through the new Magic Run Fest – presented by AIA Vitality, bringing Disney fans, families and the wider community together to celebrate wellness in a fun and inspiring way. Through this event, we hope to inspire people of all ages to Rethink Healthy — making wellbeing a joyful part of everyday life through movement, family bonding and the magic of Disney storytelling. Together, we encourage everyone to stay active, connect with loved ones and create lasting memories as we help more people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives,” said Alger Fung, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Hong Kong & Macau.

Each participant will receive a runner’s pack featuring a themed T-shirt and a festival-exclusive wristband accessory before the event even begins. There will also be exciting prizes for the winners of the Zootopia 10K and the Pixar 5K race groups.
