I get paid to hang out at Disney World, so it's no surprise that I practically live in theme parks more than most!

I'm in the parks at least once a week, clocking tens of thousands of steps while snacking on theme park treats, enduring Florida's wild weather, and taking countless photos and videos. It's a dream job, but let's be real - theme parks can be tough. Recently, one Central Florida park almost did me in!

A few months ago, right before Epic Universe's debut, things were buzzing. It's not every day a brand new park opens! Our schedules were packed with covering Epic Universe's happenings and staying updated on Disney World news.

That week, I tackled three different park resorts in a row, which was intense, even for a park pro like me! I kicked off my week at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, capturing content for YouTube and reviewing breakfast at Ronto Roasters.

Later, I visited Epic Universe for the first time, trying out The Blue Dragon restaurant and soaking in the sights. It was a dream come true that's unforgettable for a theme park buff like me.

In between those busy days, I spent time at SeaWorld with family visiting from out of town. It had been nearly 20 years since my last visit, and I wasn't sure what to expect.

Although the other days were tough with 90-degree heat and walking over 20K steps, SeaWorld Orlando nearly did me in. Here’s why it was so challenging: hills everywhere, a surprising absence of shade in some areas, and trouble finding water refill stations. Those factors made it tough, especially with three kids under five in tow!

So take it from me, if you're visiting SeaWorld, avoid the hottest months, and come prepared with water, shade, and comfortable shoes. Trust me, you'll need them!

Have you been to SeaWorld Orlando? I'd love to hear about your experience in the comments!
