While I'm usually all about Disney World due to my job as a reporter and writer, I love exploring other theme parks when I get a chance. Recently, I had quite the adventure hitting up Disney World, Epic Universe, and SeaWorld Orlando, which I hadn't visited in nearly 20 years. It was an eye-opener!
SeaWorld tried to coax me into spending more before I'd even set foot inside with parking upgrades. While upgrades at places like Disney World or Universal can be worthwhile for the proximity they offer, SeaWorld's weren't the best deal. They have three parking tiers, and honestly, the standard parking is already walkable compared to others like Disney's Magic Kingdom.
SeaWorld charges $35 for standard parking, with "Preferred" and "VIP" options costing up to $65, almost double! And what do you get? A minuscule walking time difference. Save the money and treat yourself to something fun inside the park instead. I had a blast without spending extra on parking.
