We won't pretend otherwise: Disneyland has some of our all-time favorite Disney eats, and it's not just about the churros, Mickey-shaped beignets, corn dogs, and cheesy garlic pretzel bread (though we love them too!).

Besides delicious snacks, Disneyland also offers great quick service restaurants. We recently visited Disney California Adventure to try Cocina Cucamonga Mexican Grill and brought you along!

**Atmosphere**
Cocina Cucamonga, located in San Fransokyo Square, resembles a lively market, offering a variety of quick-bite options. It features an outdoor covered counter for order placement with mobile ordering available. Despite ample seating, it can be crowded, so you may need to hunt for a spot.

While you explore, let's dive into the menu!
**Menu**
Their menu emphasizes street-style tacos and corn, offering items like QuesaBirria, Carne Asada, and San Fransokyo-style Street Corn—an Asian twist on elote. Seasonal specials, including drinks and desserts, are also available.

**Eats**
We kicked things off with the QuesaBirria: braised beef and cheese tacos with tomatillo salsa and consomé for $12.49. With juicy meat, crispy shells, and gooey cheese, these tacos are a staple for us—even on non-review visits!

Next, we tried the Tacos Dorados de Papa ($10.99), a plant-based option. Though the crunchy tacos are topped with tasty dairy-free crema, they could use more seasoning overall.

For dessert, we sampled the Ube Cake Flan ($7.49)—a delightful textural mix of vanilla flan and rich ube cake. Although ube isn't a usual favorite, it complements the dessert magnificently.

**Drinks**
We opted for the Cucumber Chia Agua Fresca ($6.99), a refreshing drink with subtle cucumber flavor and hints of lime and mint—perfect over a soda during hot days. Optionally, upgrade it with tequila for $17.

**Should You Visit?**
**Visit if:**
- You need a quick, tasty meal.
- You're a fan of Mexican cuisine.
- You're curious about unique flavor combinations.
**Skip if:**
- You prefer swift seating; it can get crowded.
- You're looking for a full-service dining experience.
- Spicy food isn't your thing (it’s not too spicy, but it can still pack a punch).
**Overall**
Cocina Cucamonga remains a top pick when in California Adventure. The QuesaBirria is consistently satisfying, complementing its street-like vibe. While seating can be challenging during peak times, mobile ordering helps streamline your experience.
