Disney World feels like it's been built out of gingerbread lately. The resorts showcase stunning displays, and the gingerbread snacks are endless! It's like the castle might soon crumble from all the icing holding it together.

Over at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs, we revisited to try a delightful gingerbread treat we had our eyes on last time.
Crafted with Gingerbread Chiffon, Marshmallow Mousse, Milk Chocolate Mousse, and more, the Gingerbread House Petit Cake goes for $24.
The cake is a visual masterpiece, with its exquisite detailing making it seem like a gingerbread man could live inside (though, wouldn't a house made of gingerbread be unusual?).
Tasting reveals a light gingerbread flavor that's just right, although the cake is a little dry. The mousse provides smoothness, dominated by chocolate with a hint of marshmallow at the end.
Hidden crispy pearls at the bottom deliver a delightful crunch, making for a pleasant surprise. While not an urgent must-try, it's a fun holiday treat if you're nearby.
