Disney World hotels are kinda our secret spots to grab some of the best snacks. Lately, there have been a lot of treats released, and honestly, we can’t get enough.

Let’s try some snacks!

This time, we’re heading to two resorts to check out the latest snacks to see if you should add them to your list. Some snacks are worth it if you’re staying at the resort, but others are worth the extra trip to grab them. Let’s check them out!

First up, we headed to The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge. We grabbed the Giraffe Cake Bar for $5.99.

The cake on the side was soft and pretty dense. There was a thin layer of icing on the outside that was subtle and did not have too much of a flavor. We thin kthe overall size was great for $6 and easy to share. It did just taste like vanilla cake with chocolate chips on the back, adding a nice crunch. While this was a rather simple treat, sometimes those are the best ones, and nice for pickier eaters who still want in on the fun.

We also had the Africa-shaped Sandwich Cookie for $5.29.

This was a nice surprise! It tasted like a zebra cake with raspberry jelly filling. The cookie was similar to the iced cookie in the grocery store, but a little thinner. The icing had a nice crunch, and the jelly filling was a little tangy, which balanced out the sweetness from the cookie, and we could probably eat a wild amount of these.

Look at those layers!

Then we headed to Centertown Market at Caribbean Beach Resort. We started with the S’mores Chocolate Marshmallow Tart for $6.49. This is a vanilla tart with graham cracker, chocolate ganache, marshmallow, and pretzels.

S’mores Chocolate Marshmallow Tart

This is one of those desserts that work best when you get a little bit of everything in one bite. The tart filling is a dark chocolate that is on the bitter side, but with the shell, it balances it out. The marshmallows on top were very soft and fluffy and reminded us of s’mores over the campfire. We were not in love with the chocolate-dipped pretzels on top that were fairly stale, but once we picked them off, we enjoyed the tart, especially if you’re into dark chocolate.

Then we had the Mango Mocha Tart for $5.99, which is a vanilla tart filled with mango and topped with mocha meringue.

Mango Mocha Tart

First off, we loved the size for the $6, especially since you could share it. The tart was crunchy without being dry and balanced the mousse’s smoothness. The vanilla flavor was creamy and not too sweet, with a stronger mango flavor. The mocha meringue on top was smooth and added some chocolate flavor, similar to a chocolate-dipped mango. Each bite was sweet and a little sour without being overpowering and obnoxious. It was truly light and refreshing, and a great option.

Finally, we ended with the Tropical Mousse Cheesecake for $6.49. Disney didn’t have a description for the dessert, so we were going in with no expectation.

This was a…unique experience. Our reporter said, “This is what I imagine alien food is like.” It was light and refreshing, with a smooth texture, but we couldn’t pick out any specific flavors. It was a bit strange and not unenjoyable, but it definitely was interesting, where each bite had us wondering what was going on.
