Soft Pretzel
Super Nintendo World has two new pretzels that made us go bananas. Plus, Isle of Berk has a new mac & cheese cone fit for a viking. Are any of these new snacks worth a try on your next visit to the park? Let’s dig in and find out!
There’s only one thing we love more than theme parks – and that’s the food and drinks! We made a free map of the best drink options from Butterbeer to hidden gems at the best Universal park, Epic Universe.
The Soft Pretzels are $15 at Turbo Boost Treats in Super Nintendo World. The pretzel itself is standard – it’s soft, moist, and the flaky salt on top adds a nice little crunch.

The cheese is the real star of the show; It’s not your typical plastic cheese, but a jalapeño cheese sauce with a spicy kick. This wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy for picky eaters; it just added an unexpected element for a unique snack.

The Cinnamon Pretzels are $15, also available at Turbo Boost Treats. These pretzels tasted more buttery than their savory counterpart, and were topped with a thick coating of cinnamon sugar. It came with a buttercream icing to dip the pretzels into, which made for a unique sweet treat. Both of these pretzels are a large portion size and easily shareable.

Another new food that caught our eye is Dragon’s Garden Pyre for $18.99 at Hooligan’s Grog & Gruel in Isle of Berk. This is mac & cheese with lemon-herb chicken, fire-roasted corn, avocado spread, and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos crumbles, served in a crunchy cone.

Dragon’s Garden Pyre
The cone itself is so buttery that we could taste the butter almost immediately, and there was a nice hint of garlic. The mac & cheese was very creamy, but tasted bland. We loved the chicken – the herbs and seasonings were very peppery and fresh. The Hot Cheetos added some spice at the beginning of your cone, but since it’s only on top, we’d recommend mixing the cone first.
