Disney World is getting delightfully spooky as the Headless Horseman parades down Main Street, U.S.A., just as the sun sets. Mickey-shaped pumpkins adorn the streets, and the Halloween vibe is unmistakable.
Halloween has arrived at the Magic Kingdom, and we've been busy trying out limited-time snacks. We visited the Cheshire Cafe to sample one of our favorite returning treats to see if it still holds up.
Say hello to the Mummy Treat, priced at $6.29. This flaky pastry has a chocolate filling, topped with a striping of white icing and sugar decorations, available exclusively during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
If you've tried the classic Cheshire Cat Tail, you'll likely enjoy this mummified version. The frosting is fluffier and lighter, reminiscent of marshmallow fluff—perfect for Halloween! It's a must-try, though the frosting overshadows the pastry.
The Mummy Treat itself has a flaky texture but can be dry, with a good amount of chocolate filling. It's akin to a Cheshire Cat Tail but with unique toppings. The adorable eyes on top are a nice touch, melting in your mouth.
But is the Mummy Treat worth a taste at your after-hours Halloween party? Probably not—we'd recommend skipping it during party hours and opting for something more unique during day hours like the Cheshire Cat Tail.
We're eager to try more Halloween treats, so keep following Disney Food Blog for our food reviews to guide your choices. Do you plan to go to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year? Share your excitement or any spooky treats you're eager to try in the comments!
