Spring has most certainly SPRUNG in Disney World with the kickoff of the 2026 EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival!

Ceviche
And, as part of EPCOT’s lovely springtime tradition, it’s time to explore Caribbean flavors at La Isla Fresca, one of the Festival’s Outdoor Kitchens (also known as Food Booths). So as we’re stopping by each and every Outdoor Kitchen to bring you our reviews, we hope you’ll join us at La Isla Fresca to check out what’s back, what’s new, and what should make its way onto YOUR must-eat list at the Flower and Garden Festival!
La Isla Fresca brings the Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Coconut-Chocolate Flan Bizcocho back to the Festival year. These dishes are joined by an updated version of the Ceviche.
2026 La Isla Fresca Menu
The returning Citrus Slushy can be found here in both a non-alcoholic and alcoholic version. Florida Orange Groves Winery, Hurricane Class 5 Tropical Sangria, and the new Bold Rock Paradise Orchard Hard Cider are also up for grabs.
Grab a fork, and let’s dig in!
One of the items you can get here is the returning Jamaican Jerk Chicken, plated with pigeon pea rice, roasted sweet plantains, and cinnamon butter. It costs $6.29. This was a hit with us last year, although we thought the pigeon pea rice was a little basic, but it made the dish heartier. The roasted sweet plantains tasted a bit off, but the chicken itself was tender and covered in spices. Yes, this one is spicy, so be warned.

This year, La Isla Fresca is serving up a different version of Ceviche from last year’s twist (which also featured scallops) for $7.49. It’s currently more of a traditional shrimp dish with mango, avocado, cucumber, lime, cilantro, tomato, and jalapeño. It’s also served with plantain chips. Well, we love ceviche, and this really didn’t work for us. The main flavor is shrimp and cucumber, which is light and refreshing, but we didn’t get any of the mango or avocado flavors. Overall, though, we just wanted more flavor from this. The plantation chips were nice and crispy, but again, this needs something more.

Ceviche
The Coconut-Chocolate Flan Bizcocho, which is chocolate cake, coconut custard, and passion fruit caramel, is back this year for $5.29. The chocolate cake is very dense because it’s soaked with the other ingredients. There’s a strong coconut flavor, but you can’t really taste the passion fruit caramel with everything else going on with this. It’s presented with a chocolate disc on top with something like freeze-dried strawberry dust on it. Overall, we thought this tasted like an Almond Joy, and we’re not mad about it.

Those participating in the Garden Graze will want to know that this is one of the options for the plant-based food crawl!
Drink up, friends! The Citrus Slushy is back, combining lemonade, grapefruit, and simple syrup in a frozen slushy form. The non-alcoholic version of this beverage is $4.99, and it’s also available to order with Don Q Límon Rum for $12.25. It’s sweet, tart, and refreshing all at the same time; just a really enjoyable hit-the-spot sip for both kids and adults. (And we can easily see how it could be even better with the rum!)

Wine fans may try the Florida Orange Groves Winery Hurricane Class 5 Tropical Sangria for $11.50. This is so nice, light, and sippable. It’s VERY sweet, but we loved it. If you’re looking for a sweet drink that tastes like a vacation, this is it.

And Bold Rock Paradise Orchard Hard Cider is available for $6.00 for a 6-ounce pour and $9.75 for a 12-ounce pour. This cider has similar notes. It’s sweet, bubbly, and light. You do get the orange flavors coming through, though, which we appreciated.

Would we go out of our way for these sangrias? Probably not? But if you find yourself near this food booth and want something refreshing, they’re worth it.
Overall, we don’t think we would cross World Showcase JUST to visit this booth, but if we found ourselves nearby, we might stop for a drink and the flan. The jerk chicken is also a solid choice, although it might be too spicy for some folks.
