It's true, Disney World sees attractions closing for updates, but they also reopen, and sometimes even ahead of schedule, like Mickey’s PhilharMagic did recently!
Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Fantasyland has surprised us by reopening earlier than planned, showing operating hours from November 18th, though it was slated for November 23rd. While it wasn't expected to undergo major changes, it's always exciting when these attractions reopen sooner than anticipated.
Meanwhile, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad remains closed for refurbishment, promising new rainbow caverns and a bit of extra magic upon its return. We're hopeful that the replaced track will offer a smoother ride!
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin is getting a revamp too, with new scenes and interactive elements, promising an entirely fresh experience.
The Carousel of Progress will also be getting an exciting update, featuring Disney World's debut of a Walt Disney animatronic.
And let's not overlook Cinderella Castle, which is set to be repainted in its classic gray and blue with gold accents, letting us bid farewell to the 50th anniversary colors.
With these changes happening, we're on the edge of our seats, eager to see the new enhancements Magic Kingdom has in store. Make sure to stay tuned for updates!
