Fun Spot America Atlanta will close its gates for good following its final day of operation on August 2nd, 2026.
Fun Spot America announced the closure of its Atlanta park, which is in Fayetteville, Georgia, via a press release shared on X/Twitter. The post read, “Fun Spot Atlanta family, thank you for the memories, the screams, and the love you’ve given us through the years. Come see us, make one more memory, and take one last ride!”
In the press release, Fun Spot America shared that since opening in 2017, “the park has welcomed millions of guests and created lasting memories for families throughout the region.”
Fun Spot America CEO John Arie Jr. said, “This was an extremely difficult decision. Our Atlanta team has poured their hearts into serving our guests and creating a place where families could have fun together. We are deeply grateful for their dedication, and for the support we have received from the Fayetteville community.”

According to the press release, the company will be working closely with team members throughout the transition and will be providing support resources during this period.

Daily park operations will continue as normal from 10 AM to 10 PM through August 2nd, 2026. Those with Season Passes can continue to use them through the closure, and they will continue to be honored at Fun Spot America’s Orlando and Kissimmee locations, which will remain open.

Fun Spot America first opened in 1997 in Orlando, Florida, followed by a location in Kissimmee, Florida. The Atlanta park was their third location, which boasts Fun Spot’s largest four-story go-kart track, The Samson. Standing at 40 feet tall and 1,800 feet long, the track was Georgia’s first and only multi-level go-kart track. Atlanta is also home to a Ferris Wheel, Batting Cages, and more.
We’ll be on the lookout for additional theme park closures you might need to know about and more. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest theme park news and beyond.
