Universal Studios Hollywood is about to officially open Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift soon, and to celebrate the new ride, BoxLunch has announced a High Speed to Universal Hollywood Sweepstakes! We have all the details of the sweepstakes, including how to enter, so let’s race right into it.

You and three guests now have the chance to win a theme park vacation to check out Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, the first-ever outdoor high-speed roller coaster, as well as the rest of Universal Studios Hollywood. The ride opens this summer, so you need to enter the BoxLunch sweepstakes NOW!

Entering the sweepstakes will not only give you access to the park, but you’ll also get some of BoxLunch’s exclusive Fast & Furious merchandise to wear on your trip. BoxLunch didn’t tease what type of merchandise, but knowing the brand’s history, we know it’s going to be nice.

There is no purchase necessary to enter to win. The sweepstakes are open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Rhode Island) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. They’ve already officially begun, and they will end on August 16th, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT. There is a limit of two entries per person! One entry can be done via the website entry form, and the other entry can be done via the Instagram post.

Universal Studios Hollywood recently had technical rehearsals for the brand-new roller coaster, which are so Universal can test the ride to make sure it continues to run smoothly after a full day of guests. It also allows Team Members to practice loading and unloading procedures and other parts.

Universal has yet to announce an official opening date. We recommend checking in with Team Members for the attraction or nearby areas to see what’s happening, since the ride is already operating for technical rehearsals.
