If you’ve ever wondered what people who are in Disney World constantly actually carry with them, hi, it’s me.
We love our essentials
I’m in the parks all the time, and trust me, I’ve learned a few things the hard way. Disney days are long, hot, unpredictable, and incredibly unforgiving if you show up unprepared. There are a handful of items I will not do a park day without, and they’re all things you should absolutely grab before you arrive. Not only will you save money, but you’ll also save yourself from scrambling around gift shops when you should be riding rides or eating snacks.

Frogg Toggs Poncho
If you go to Disney World without rain protection, you’re basically tempting fate. Afternoon storms are common, and they show up fast. This poncho is one of our go-to picks because it doesn’t feel like wearing a plastic trash bag. It’s lightweight, breathable, and actually comfortable to move around in. It folds down into a compact pouch that’s easy to toss in a backpack, so you won’t feel like you’re hauling around bulky rain gear all day. Bonus points for the fact that it comes in fun colors, so you don’t look like everyone else stuck in the rain.
JISULIFE handheld fan
Yes, we talk about this fan a lot. No, we’re not going to stop. Florida heat is no joke, and this little fan works overtime in the parks. It’s rechargeable, powerful, and easy to hold or stash when you’re done using it. The real reason we love it is because it does more than just blow air. It also works as a portable power bank and even has a built-in flashlight. That means one item is pulling triple duty in your bag, and we love efficiency.
MultiCharger for MagicBand+
Charging chaos is real in Disney hotel rooms. There are never enough outlets, especially if you’re traveling with family or friends. Since MagicBand+ needs to be charged, this multi charger makes life so much easier. It lets you charge multiple MagicBands at once, or mix and match with phones. Everything plugs in using USB-A, so you don’t need anything fancy. If you’ve got a group sharing a room, this is one of those items that instantly becomes the MVP of the trip.
We love our Owala water bottle!
Staying hydrated is non-negotiable at Disney World, and having a bottle you actually want to carry matters. This Rapunzel-themed Owala checks all the boxes. It’s cute, functional, and very Disney without being over the top. Owalas are popular for a reason. They’re easy to drink from, don’t leak, and keep water cold for hours. The Rapunzel colors and floating lantern detail just make it feel extra magical, especially if you’re a Tangled fan.
FuelRod chargers
You’ve definitely seen these around the parks, and for good reason. FuelRods are incredibly convenient, especially if your phone battery drains fast. The kit comes with two chargers and all the cables you’ll need, including USB-C. The best part is the swap system. When one dies, you can exchange it for a fully charged one at a kiosk in the parks. Buying this kit ahead of time usually costs way less than grabbing one once you’re already there.
Touchland and Disney Special Edition Hand Sanitizer + Mist Case
This is one of those small things that ends up being used constantly. Touchland hand sanitizer doesn’t smell harsh or leave your hands feeling gross, and the Disney mist case adds a subtle Mickey touch without screaming souvenir. It’s easy to clip onto a bag, quick to use between snacks and rides, and actually feels nice on your hands. Once you start using this, it’s hard to go back to regular sanitizer.
