It’s been an exciting few days in Disney World with numerous new attractions opening in the parks, and now another one has just soft opened in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Bluey!
That’s right, Bluey’s Wild World in Animal Kingdom had a very quiet soft opening today with NO Virtual Queue needed (which will change starting tomorrow!), and EVERYTHING about this experience has changed, including the Wildlife Express that takes you over to the new area of the park. In fact, if you listen closely on the train, you’ll hear none other than Robert Irwin!
To get over to Bluey’s Wild World, you’ll need to hop on the Wildlife Express. This is the same train that took you over to the Conservation Station previously, but now, as soon as you step on board, you’ll hear that things are different. Now, there’s music from “Bluey” playing, and then when the narration starts, you may find yourself going, “hey, he sounds familiar.”
That’s because the new narrator of the Wildlife Express is none other than Robert Irwin, the son of the late prominent Australian wildlife expert, Steve Irwin! You may have recently seen him on Dancing With The Stars, or from his social media presence where he follows in his father’s footsteps as a wildlife expert and educator. He himself is from Australia, so it fits perfectly.
Bluey’s Wild World consists of lots of fun activities that kiddos will love, such as a show with Bluey and Bingo where kids will get to play four different games and dance their hearts out, plus you can visit Jumping Junction outside and visit with some animals from Australia! You can also still check out the vet windows inside the Conservation Station, so if there are any procedures happening on animals in the park, you’ll still get a first-hand look!
