In just one month, it’ll be time to officially say goodbye to one of our favorite parts of Animal Kingdom.
Dinosaur
This land began closing in early 2025 to make way for the new Tropical Americas land, but we got to experience our beloved Dinosaur attraction for another year. However, that time has come to an end — this is your reminder that in just ONE month, the rest of DinoLand, U.S.A. will close forever.
On February 2nd, DINOSAUR, The Dino Institute Shop, Restaurantosaurus, and Restaurantosaurus Lounge will officially close, making February 1st the final day to experience each of these.
Are you ready to ride it one more time?
Work has already begun on the new Tropical Americas: Pueblo Esperanza land in the area formerly occupied by DinoRama, and it’s been great to see the recent progress!

There she is!
This new land will highlight the Tropical Americas through the stories of Encanto and Indiana Jones. It will feature classic Spanish-style architecture with a large hacienda that will become one of the largest quick-service restaurants in Disney World. We’ll get to see the rich, lush color and biodiversity of the Tropical Rainforest, and at the center of the land will be a large fountain where stories will be told by gathering villagers. Imagineers are taking inspiration from some of the most biodiverse areas on the planet, including, but not limited to, the northern part of South America, stretching up into Central America.

There are to be three new rides in this land — an Encanto ride featuring the Madrigal family, a new Indiana Jones adventure ride, and a carousel.
