Disney World is facing numerous closures, sparking curiosity about what remains open. In Magic Kingdom, familiar sites are evolving: iconic structures have been taken down, Buzz Lightyear's ride is getting revamped, and a significant expansion is underway. Among the surprises is the rumored closure of Tomorrowland's Cool Ship, a favorite misting spot paired with a quick-service stand offering refreshments like popcorn and ice cream.

An announcement of AstroFizz, a new snack stand, seems to mark the end of Cool Ship. The previously closed stand has disappeared to make way for a fresh structure, likely the new AstroFizz spot. Interestingly, the Cool Ship page on Disney's website redirects to AstroFizz, hinting at its permanent replacement.

AstroFizz aims to delight visitors with frozen slushies in flavors like Coca-Cola and Fanta, alongside a novel Cherry Cola Churro—a churro adorned with cherry sugar, Coca-Cola Cherry icing, and popping candy. Popcorn will continue to be a staple on the menu.

While saying goodbye to Cool Ship after 31 years brings some nostalgia, the anticipation for what AstroFizz will bring is palpable. What do you think about these changes? Are you excited about AstroFizz or sad to see Cool Ship go? Share your thoughts!
