The time has finally come when we say goodbye to two hotel perks at Disneyland.
Pixar Place Hotel
Staying at a Disneyland or Disney World hotel can come with some major perks like free water park tickets, free transportation, and even extra time in the parks. Unfortunately, we’re cutting two perks from our list for the new year.
If you’re staying at a Disneyland hotel, you no longer have Early Theme Park Entry or access to the Pixar Place Hotel entrance to Disney California Adventure starting on January 5th.
WALL-E at Pixar Place Hotel
Instead of having Early Entry, where you could enter a park 30 minutes before it opens to the rest of the public, guests will receive one Lightning Lane per person, per stay. Previously, you could use the Early Entry day of your trip, but now you will only receive one Lightning Lane, no matter how long your trip is.
Lightning Lane entrance at Disneyland’s Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Your Lightning Lane will be part of Lightning Lane Multi Pass, so you can use it to skip almost all popular rides except for Radiator Springs Racers in Disney California Adventure and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland. Beforehand, Disneyland would host Early Hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and Disney California Adventure opened 30 minutes early on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so it’s nice with the Lightning Lane that you can use it at either park on whichever day.
Space Mountain Lightning Lane
Also starting on January 5th, if you’re staying at the Pixar Place Hotel, you will not be able to use the entrance into Disney California Adventure. This is due to the construction and new projects in the works, but it’s a bummer to miss out on a special entrance with fewer lines.
