We're huge fans of Disney castles and could talk endlessly about them. The upcoming makeover for Cinderella Castle in Disney World is a topic that fascinates us, especially why it's called "Cinderella Castle" instead of "Cinderella’s Castle." Simply put, we're obsessed with castle updates.
Disney's latest “We Call It Imagineering” video on YouTube caught our attention with discussions on the different castle designs, including the one at the upcoming Abu Dhabi Disney park and details about the new Disney Adventure on the Disney Cruise Line.
In case you haven't heard, a new Disney theme park is being developed in Abu Dhabi. Details have been sparse, but the latest update mentioned ongoing work on the castle, which will be a Magic Kingdom-style castle park. Interestingly, due to Abu Dhabi's coastal location, water elements will be integrated into the castle design.
For the first time, a castle will also feature on a Disney Cruise Line ship, specifically on the Disney Adventure departing from Singapore later this year. This castle will incorporate natural inspirations, with nods to beloved Disney Princesses like Moana, Rapunzel, Anna, and Elsa, marking a first for Disney.
