We can’t believe it, we’re only FIVE days away from a popular restaurant finally reopening at Disney’s Grand Floridian!

After being closed for almost six years, the Garden View Lounge Tea Room Experience at the Grand Floridian is officially reopening on March 19th — that’s literally right around the corner!
The agents at Small World Vacations know how to save money on your Disney Vacation! When you book your trip with Small World Vacations, their experienced agents monitor your reservation for possible future savings. They also compare discounts and figure out which one works best for your travel party, dates, resort, and touring plans. And they share expert tips and first-hand advice with you about your magical vacation.
We’ve been ready to grab our fancy hats and head straight to the Grand Floridian to experience tea sandwiches, pretty desserts, and obviously, lots of teas. The afternoon tea experience is priced at $79 per adult and $49 per child.
Garden View Lounge
You could even do the “Perfectly Princess Tea Party”, which was around $300, and offered for younger children and their parents. It’s been so long that you might’ve forgotten about the tea parties, or maybe you didn’t even know they existed, but these events were hugely popular with guests. They would often sell out months in advance!
We can’t wait for its reopening!
The Tea Room has been closed down due to the 2020 park closures, but now that it’s finally reopening, it’s gotten a refurbished look along with a whole new menu.
Garden View Lounge
This new experience in the tea room will be a proper British afternoon tea party featuring premium Twinings tea selections paired with delightful scones, small bites, and exquisite pastries, all themed to Alice in Wonderland. Disney shared the experience’s full menu with us!

Reservations for this new experience already opened on February 19th, with guests able to book 60 days in advance. If you’re staying at a Disney World hotel, you’ll be able to book for the whole duration of your trip (up to 10 days) beginning 60 days before your arrival, so you could conceivably book up to 70 days out. Like we said, this is going to be popular, so you might want to book sooner rather than later!
Garden View Lounge
We seriously can’t wait for this experience to come back to Disney World! We have been counting down the days for the longest time, and now the countdown is almost up. For more Disney news and updates, make sure to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog!
