We are DEVASTATED over here, and if that sounds like an exaggeration…well, we see how it can sound that way, but we promise we are genuinely heartbroken.
Fudge Easter Egg
For years, over at Disneyland Resort, you could grab these MASSIVE, gorgeous, delicious Fudge Easter Eggs around the Easter season. Previously, we’ve grabbed them at Marceline’s Confectionery (now Disney Wonderful World of Sweets) and Candy Palace, but now, we’ve got terrible news. For the second year in a row, these special treats will NOT be returning for the season.
2025 was the first year we didn’t see these eggs return, and it looks like the same is happening this year. We stopped by Disneyland recently to check with Cast Members, who told us that they won’t be returning again for 2026. Back in 2024, when these eggs were last available, they were only available on select days and had to be mobile-ordered on the Disneyland app.
The iconic treat WON’T be returning this year
Previously, we saw flavors like Chocolate Nut, Vanilla Nut, Chocolate Cream, Black Walnut, and Peanut Butter Fudge, and while they were “only” 8 oz, the fudge packed inside made them feel a lot heavier. We loved looking through the Candy Palace windows to see Cast Members creating them, and are bummed we’ll miss out on this iconic seasonal treat yet again.
The making of Fudge Easter Eggs
We’ll be holding out hope that they’ll return once again in 2027, but in the meantime, you can check out Disneyland Resort’s other bakeries, such as Pooh Corner, Trolley Treats, Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff, and more, to see what other Easter treats are available during this time of year. However, we are already looking forward to Christmas time when we’ll hopefully see the iconic, giant Candy Canes return to the resort!
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all the latest Disneyland Resort news and beyond, so stay tuned to Magical Guides!
