Are you headed to Disney World in May? It’s a great time to visit the parks! You can enjoy the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival throughout the whole month, plus you’ll get to see Disney World in all its springtime glory and enjoy the newly reopened Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin in Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT
If you are headed to Disney World in May, you’ll want to know about all the exclusive perks you can get while you’re there. So we’ve outlined all ten of them, so you know what to expect.
If you’re a Disney World Annual Passholder, get ready for V.I.PASSHOLDER Days, which will bring a ton of perks to the resort for Passholders. The event begins on May 1st and runs through July 31st, bringing exclusive new Passholder merchandise, food and drinks, increased discounts, a special Passholder magnet, and more.
Disney World Annual Pass
Some of the increased discounts include up to 40% off meals and non-alcoholic beverages at select Disney World restaurants on select days. Yes, up to 40% off FOOD, y’all! That’s something to get excited about.
Guests staying at Disney World resorts and other participating hotels can get the Early Theme Park Entry perk, which means they can get into Disney World’s theme parks 30 minutes early every day of their trip before everyone else. This is a great way to knock out a few rides before lines for those rides get longer after the park officially opens.
Early Entry sign at Animal Kingdom
Note that only select rides within each theme park are open during Early Theme Park Entry, but you can find a full list of participating hotels and rides here.
Guests staying at deluxe Disney World hotels and other participating hotels can also get Extended Evening Hours, which gives you extra time in the theme parks during the evening on select nights. Unlike Early Theme Park Entry, different parks will have different access to Extended Evening Hours on select dates.
Extended Evening Hours Crowds at EPCOT
Like Early Theme Park Entry, select rides will be open during this time, and it’s a great opportunity to ride the more popular rides with shorter waits.
On May 26th, Disney World hotel guests will also be able to get a free water park ticket for everyone in their group for their arrival day. This ticket will get you into one of Disney World’s water parks at no additional cost, so you can just have some fun in the sun on the day you check in to your hotel.
Blizzard Beach
This perk runs through September 8th, so you’ll have all summer to enjoy this perk if you’re visiting Disney World.
Disney World hotel guests can also get a free dining plan for kids aged 3 through 9 in 2026 through October with the purchase of a dining plan with your vacation package for the adults in your group.
Sesame Chicken Kids’ Meal
This deal can be combined with other select special offers, so you can get even more savings! You’ll see this offer and be able to select it when you book your Disney World vacation online.
You can now buy a 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket for May 26th through October 3rd, starting at $109 per day. This gives you the opportunity to visit all four parks during your trip at a great price.
Tinker Bell Ticket
If you’re visiting later, you’ll need to purchase your tickets by September 27th. Note that tickets must be used within seven days of your chosen start date. This deal is available right NOW on the Walt Disney World website.
If your Disney World trip is from May 1st through October 4th, you can save up to 30% off your hotel room as long as your stay is for five or more consecutive nights. If you’re staying one to 4 consecutive nights, you can save up to 25% off.
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
This discount is dependent on how many nights you stay, as well as which hotel you book.
If you have a Disney World Annual Pass, you can score an even bigger discount on hotel rooms. Annual Passholders can save up to 40% off Disney World hotels for stays on most nights from May 1st through July 29th for stays of four or more nights.
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Again, this deal is dependant on which hotel you stay at, but you’ll get a nice discount at pretty much any Disney World hotel.
If you’re willing to only visit the theme parks in just the afternoons, you can get a discounted ticket for either 2 days or 3 days with admission to one park per day after 2 PM. This offer is valid for dates starting on May 26th and runs through July 29th.
Magic Kingdom
This could be a great offer for those folks who don’t want to get up early to rope drop, but would still like to stay in the parks until they close. Ticket prices depend on the start date, but a 2-day ticket starts at $118 per day, while a 3-day ticket starts at $116 per day.
