It’s no secret that Disney World offers a large selection of culinary options, with something for every type of palate. However, not every one of these foods is created equal as far as Cast Members are concerned.

Thanks to overexposure to certain foods, environments, and guest behavior, the former Cast Members on our team say they avoid these foods any time they’re hungry at the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”
So, our first story out of the gate has nothing to do with the pizzas served at the All-Star Resorts and everything to do with an incident witnessed by one of our team members.
End Zone Pizza
While working as a Cast Member, they saw a group of middle school-aged guests throw a pizza down — toppings first — and then proceed to pick it up and eat it. Suffice to say, they haven’t eaten a pizza since.
All-Star Sports Seating
For many Magic Kingdom guests, a hot dog from Casey’s Corner is the epitome of an All-American Disney World meal. However, for many Cast Members — including on our team — who’ve worked in the eatery and smelled thousands of hot dogs at the height of the Florida summer, they’re more the epitome of a “must-skip” Disney Food.

Walt Disney World features several buffets, including Chef Mickey’s. However, for many Cast Members who’ve seen thousands upon thousands of hands — especially those of little kids — all over the buffet’s offerings, it’s table service or nothing as far as sit-down restaurants go.
You can make your own charcuterie!
Disney World’s famous Turkey Legs are not, as the internet would have you believe, made of emu meat. They are indeed turkey. However, they are also held together and shaped by edible glue, which, once you’ve served it, felt its grease drip down your forearms, and found out how they’re pieced together, you can kill your appetite for ever chowing down on one again.

Say it ain’t so! The iconic Mickey Pretzels you know and love come frozen and are then sprayed with water, salted, and warmed. Truth be told, they’re still delicious, but losing the illusion of freshness can feel like a bummer.
