Okay, we have a lot of love in Disney World. We have a passion for “plastic” nacho cheese and are always down for a Mickey-shaped anything, but what can we say, priorities are changing.
Spun Sugar
We’re always going through the World Showcase to find unique snacks and souvenirs, which is perfect considering they have items from all over the world, but after trying this unique snack, we can’t stop visiting the China Pavilion.
Please say hello to spun sugar art, which you can find in the China Pavilion in EPCOT. The last time we saw this was the 2020 EPCOT Festival of the Arts, but when we saw it come back a few weeks ago, it’s suddenly been everything we talk about.
Gorgeous!
You can find it in the House of Good Fortune, and while Disney hasn’t mentioned it going away or anything, we’re still upset it went away in the first place, so we’re making it a priority every time we visit. The cost depends on your design, but you get to watch the artist make the design, so it’s interactive too.
Look at them making it!
The dragonfly, swan, kitten, panda, and dog designs are $9, and the hummingbird, butterfly, owls, horse, and bunny are $14.
Prices
The dragon and phoenix are $25. Of course, since it’s mostly a stick of sugar, it’s going to be SWEET. Now, that doesn’t really bother us because anytime we finish a salty treat like a soft pretzel, we immediately need something sweet, and this is perfect. The pieces can snap off easily, so be aware when you’re walking around with it.
The Dragon!
It’s basically dinner and a show! You get to watch them create your snack, take beautiful photos, and then eat it. What’s there not to like?
While we continue to visit almost every day at EPCOT, make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more hidden details around Disney World. We’re in the parks every day, finding new and exciting tips and tricks along with the best food, so you can have the best vacation yet.
