Cinderella Castle in Magic Kingdom
This unforgettable spot is going through quite a few changes these days, so it feels like construction central. In addition to the walls all around the parks, it’s also easily one of the hottest places on earth (or at least it feels like it). Now, even more weather advisories have been announced for Orlando.
Another day, another weather advisory in Disney World! According to Fox35, you need to keep extra weather-related gear packed in your park bag. Today, Monday, July 27th, is going to see lots of storms in Disney World. There are multiple shower storms expected throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening.

There are expected breaks throughout the day in between storms, and not every area of Central Florida will see the rain. Those areas that do get the storms will see quick downpours, gusty winds, and frequent lightning. For those in Disney World, that could mean temporary closures for outdoor attractions and shows, so be sure to check your My Disney Experience app frequently throughout the storms.
Rainy Day in Magic Kingdom
In addition to the rain, it’s going to be HOT, to no one’s major surprise. A new heat advisory has been issued for almost all of Central Florida from 11 AM until 8 PM due to “feels like” temperatures ranging from 108 degrees to 111 degrees.

That rain will hopefully help cool off the area, but that break in the afternoon will give each area enough time to dry up, which will raise the temperatures again. Experts are also anticipating that there will be high levels of humidity, especially during the first rounds of rain in the morning. The highs today will get into the mid-90s, which could be potentially dangerous. If you’re going to be outside today, be sure to take lots of breaks, wear sunscreen, and stay hydrated.

Rain is expected to continue throughout the week with widespread storms and showers. There will be rounds of heavy rain, especially during lunchtime. Each day won’t be non-stop storms, but when it does rain, you can expect a downpour. In the tropics, there is no expected activity throughout this week. We are still in the middle of hurricane season, though, so don’t let your guard down.

Throughout this week, make sure to bring your fans, cooling towels, water bottles, umbrellas, ponchos, and more gear to survive the weather. As always, be sure to keep following Magical Guides for more Disney news, weather updates, and more.
