Heads up! If you're flying out for your vacation, you might accidentally bring along some prohibited items in your luggage.

Navigating the airport can be stressful enough without any added delays at security because of banned items. Recently, TSA has updated its rules, and we're here to make sure you're in the know about some popular things you might think are okay to pack but aren't.

1. **Loose Lithium Batteries**
You might use these for cameras or drones. They aren't allowed in checked bags but are fine in carry-ons if secured properly to prevent short-circuiting.

2. **Replica Weapons and Toy Guns**
Even toys resembling weapons, like bubble guns or toy swords, are not permitted in carry-on bags.

3. **Alcohol Over 140 Proof**
Bottles under 3.4 ounces can be part of your carry-on, but anything over 140 proof can't be packed at all due to safety risks.

4. **Smart Luggage with Non-Removable Batteries**
Smart bags with non-removable batteries aren't allowed. Ensure you can take the battery out and put it in your carry-on for safety.

5. **Wrapped Gifts**
While gifts can travel with you, wrapping them before reaching your destination isn’t advised since TSA may need to open them for inspection.

6. **Certain Foods**
TSA considers some foods as liquids. Spreadable foods and canned goods with liquid aren’t allowed in carry-ons if they're over 3.4 ounces.

Remember, being prepared will save your time and sanity! Make sure to double-check your luggage before heading out. Do you have any tips or stories about navigating airport security? Share them in the comments!
