We know, we know, we’re back again talking about ANOTHER Disney World closure, but hey, it’s what’s really happening all around the resort right now, so we’ve got to keep you updated on it all!
Prime Rib Sliders at Crew’s Cup Lounge
Over at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, you’ll find one of our favorite lounges — Crew’s Cup Lounge. We’ve known it was coming for weeks now, but today is officially the day. As of today, February 23rd, this lounge is now temporarily closed for refurbishment.
Crew’s Cup Lounge is known for its cozy, inviting atmosphere, as well as its delicious bites to eat and solid drinks. The lounge has closed to undergo a refurbishment, though Disney hasn’t exactly mentioned what will be changing.
Crew’s Cup Lounge
Based on Disney’s website, we do know that Crew’s Cup Lounge is expected to reopen in May 2026, but that’s mostly due to the fact that in May, the restaurant the lounge is connected to, Yachtsman Steakhouse, will close for refurbishment from May through August 2026. This way, both of these dining options aren’t closed at the same time.
Yachtsman Signature Bread at Crew’s Cup Lounge
It’s important to note as well that the entirety of the hotel is currently undergoing an exterior refurbishment, so guests staying at the resort or exploring it may hear work during the day. Not to worry, though, because all work will be completed each day before nighttime, so guests can get a good night’s sleep. If you’re traveling with someone who enjoys taking naps during the day, though, we suggest bringing along earplugs, a noise machine, or something else to assist in sleeping in case you can hear work during the day!
