Disney World is changing a LOT these days. Magic Kingdom is getting a major park expansion, Hollywood Studios is adding two new lands, and Animal Kingdom is saying goodbye to DinoLand.

Harambe Market!

Animal Kingdom’s land closure means we’re saying goodbye to Dr. Seeker and our beloved Iguanadon. It also means we’re saying goodbye to Restaurantosaurus, but luckily, another quick service is reopening early to take its place!

Planning guide for the ultimate Disney vacation

Harambe Market is officially reopening on February 5th! The quick service, located in the Africa section of the park, will be open starting on the 5th from 10:30 AM until 4:30 PM. The restaurant was originally supposed to reopen on March 1st, 2026, so this is a big jump up.

Harambe Market has been closed since October 2025 to be refurbished and to create a new menu to prepare for the loss of Restaurantosaurus in DinoLand. The popular restaurant will close permanently on February 2nd, 2026, to make way for Pueblo Esperanza, a new Tropical Americas-themed land.

Harambe’s new menu will include a lot of those classic theme park bites, like a Bacon Cheeseburger for $13.99. There’s also a Cheeseburger without bacon for $13.29. Both are served with lettuce, tomato, and French fries.

You can also find Chicken Strips available for $10.99, which we believe every theme park needs.

For a healthier bite, you can try the Savanna Salad, which is a salad of mixed greens, lentils, carrots, couscous, kachumbari, toasted almonds, and a citrus-harissa dressing for $11.29.

The Harissa Chicken Wrap will also be available, and it’s currently available at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery. It’s made with chilled tandoori rotisserie chicken with harissa mayo wrapped in a flour tortilla and served with French fries for $10.99.

For something sweet, you can try the Kubwa Cookie topped with chocolate cream, potato chips, M&M’s, and dulce de leche, for $5.29. This looks SO fun.

You can also get a Harambe Sunrise, which is Jungle Juice with wild strawberry and Corazon Blanco Tequila for $14.50. We need this ASAP.

We are pretty relieved to see that this quick service will be opening early, so there won’t be any big gaps in food throughout the park. Several of DinoLand’s famous snacks have found new homes, like the Buffalo Chicken Chips.

We will sorely miss Harambe’s rice bowls that were previously here, but you can find similar options over at Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery for lunch. While you’re there, we recommend trying the Coconut-flavored Iced Coffee! Be sure to keep following DisneyFoodBlog for more Disney news and updates from the people in the parks every day.
