There are a lot of changes coming to Walt Disney World in 2026, ranging from massive construction projects to refurbished attractions to permanent closures. However, changes aren’t isolated simply to rides.

Dip it!
Some big changes are coming to Walt Disney World restaurants as well, all of which will change how many guests book their dining reservations and plan where to eat on their next visit to the “Most Magical Place on Earth.”
The Diamond Horseshoe — one of the Magic Kingdom’s oldest and longest neglected eateries — is getting new life with a Toy Story-themed Jessie’s Roundup show during the Cool Kids Summer promotion. According to Disney, Jessie’s Roundup will be led by “everyone’s favorite yodelin’ cowgirl” Jessie, who will help guests “craft, dance and yodel their day away” with Woody and friends in a “high-spirited Western revue!”

The Diamond Horseshoe
The show will make the first live entertainment in the Diamond Horseshoe in over two decades. From the Magic Kingdom’s opening in 1971 through 2004, the restaurant — which has alternated between table service and quick service throughout its history — has hosted several incarnations of the Diamond Horseshoe Revue… and Goofy’s Country Dancin’ Jamboree. One of those things is certainly not like the other.
The permanent closure of DinoLand U.S.A. in Animal Kingdom has led to a chain reaction of food changes at the theme park.
Buffalo Chicken Chips
These include:
Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich
Whether you’re making dining reservations, planning where to eat in the Magic Kingdom, or wondering where to find your favorite snacks in Animal Kingdom, you’ll need to keep these changes in mind during your next visit to Disney World.
