Happy Halloween! The festivities are in full swing at Disney World, with the first night of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. We are diving into all the exclusive eats and drinks, and our first stop is Golden Oak Outpost where we’re sampling some party-exclusive treats. Let’s get started!
We're starting with the Cajun Crawfish and Sausage BOOtine, a hefty dish with waffle fries, crawfish, and sausage gravy topped with cheese curds for $13.49. It's a delicious Southern-inspired creation, though not visually spooky. For those hesitant about crawfish, the bold flavors might not be for you, but we thoroughly enjoyed its shareable goodness. What do you think? Would you give it a try?
Next are the Beignets from Beyond, supposedly summoned by Madame Leota's magic. At $8.79, these powdered sugar and cookie crumb beignets with a cookies and cream cheese dip didn't quite hit the mark for us. They felt more like dough shells with a somewhat disappointing store-bought-tasting dip. It's a shame given how enticing they look! Do you think they sound worth a shot?
We rounded off with the Hot Honey Lemonade, a zesty treat priced at $6.29. With a chili-lime rim and underlying honey warmth, this drink was our favorite. The Tajin on the rim added an extra zing to this unique and refreshing sip. Intrigued?
We’ll keep exploring Halloween Party offerings, and we want to hear from you! Will you be attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year? What's on your must-try list? Share your thoughts!
