In case you’re new here, you should know that we loooove a good Joffrey’s coffee. They offer so many fun flavors exclusive to the Disney World parks!

So when we realized we’ve never tried this Animal Kingdom-exclusive frozen cappuccino, we ran to Asia to grab it!

The Frozen Lion’s Cappuccino is $7.99 at the Royal Anandapur Tea Company, which is the Joffrey’s location in Animal Kingdom’s Asia section. This is a frozen cappuccino with coconut syrup and white chocolate sauce that’s topped with whipped cream and toasted coconut flakes.

When we took the first sip, the coconut was front and center! This drink was very sweet and flavorful. Joffrey’s Frozen Cappuccinos are similar in texture to a Starbucks Frappuccino, so it’s thicker than your standard frozen coffee; It’s just shy of milkshake territory. This had very little coffee flavor to it – we couldn’t even taste it in some sips!

We’d recommend this to anyone wanting a coconut frozen treat in Animal Kingdom. This would also be a great way to beat the heat; it was very refreshing on the hot day that we went. This drink won’t be for you if you’re craving coffee, though. We’d recommend a latte or another espresso-based drink from Joffrey’s instead. If you want to get your hands on this, it’s only available at the Royal Anandapur Tea Company Joffrey’s location in Asia.

While this coffee wasn’t what we expected, we still loved it. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more Disney World food and drink reviews.
