We were thrilled when Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs, a must-try from Disneyland, finally jumped over to Disney World in Florida. Blue Ribbon is known for whipping up some pretty wild corn dogs, like the divisive Pickle Dog. But the latest addition to their lineup at Disney’s BoardWalk may just top them all in terms of controversy among Disney fans.
Meet the Salmon Dog! This intriguing creation features salmon and cream cheese fried in tempura batter, drizzled with sriracha mayo, topped with sesame seeds and unagi sauce, and comes with a bag of chips for $18. Despite our initial confusion, we found it surprisingly tasty. The salmon, paired with cream cheese, offers a delightful combo, though it lacks seasoning—the sauces make up for it.
With crispy batter encasing ooey-gooey cheese and fish, plus a touch of sweetness from unagi sauce and a dash of spice from sriracha mayo, it’s a unique bite. It’s different for sure—a corn dog in essence but with a bold salmon taste, so salmon lovers, this one's for you!
