One of the best parts about visiting EPCOT is the food! You'll find endless snacks, amazing restaurants, and delicious international treats. It's a chance to try something new every visit, which is what we love to do.
Exploring World Showcase is a tasty adventure where you can sample unique snacks from 11 different countries. While the permanent spots offer staple items, they often introduce seasonal specials too. During a recent stroll through the Japan pavilion, we reminded ourselves about the Kakigori at [Kabuki Café]—a cool, Japanese shaved ice treat loaded with options!
Stop by Kabuki Café in the Japan pavilion for a selection of sushi, sake slushies, Kakigori, and various drinks. This traditional Japanese shaved ice is topped with imported syrups and can be customized with single, dual, or multiple flavors. Enhance it further with different toppings available at an extra cost.
Flavor choices include Blue Hawaii, Kyoho Grape, Lemon, Melon, Strawberry, and Rainbow, and toppings range from Sweet Milk to Pineapple Créme. During our visit, we opted for a large Kakigori with Blue Hawaii, lemon, and strawberry syrups topped with pineapple, coconut crèmes, and mandarin oranges for $16.25. We were thrilled that the mix was as tasty as it looked, offering a delightful blend of tropical and classic flavors.
With layers of syrup and fresh mandarin oranges adding depth, this treat was well-balanced and authentic. Think of it as the ultimate snow cone, offering a beautiful mix of flavors without overwhelming sweetness.
While you can share, our reporter enjoyed every bit solo, discovering an icy, refreshing experience that's perfect on a hot day. If you find yourself at World Showcase, be sure to try this unique treat at Kabuki Café.
