Something new is coming to Universal Orlando! Luke Combs’ entertainment venue chain Category 10 will open its third location at Universal CityWalk.

Grammy nominee Luke Combs is known for songs “Hurricane,” “When It Rains It Pours,” “Beautiful Crazy,” and Twister‘s “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma.” Even if you don’t know country music, you’ve heard his cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car,” which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 rankings after he performed with her at the 2024 Grammys.
According to Universal’s press release, the venue will begin construction this summer. The building will be massive — three stories tall across 33,000 square feet! Category 10 already has a location in Nashville, and it is opening another in Las Vegas this fall.

Category 10’s first location in Nashville opened in 2024. The venue, named in reference to Comb’s breakout hit “Hurricane,” is themed to be a massive hurricane that’s influenced by Comb’s South Carolina roots.

The two existing locations feature line dancing and live music with a sports bar, lounge, and rooftop bar for dining options. The menu includes burgers, sandwiches, ribs, salads, and signature drinks – including 64 ounce shareable cocktail, Life of the Party.

“I’m super-pumped and humbled that we’re getting to open a location there,” Luke Combs said in the news release. “My wife is from Florida, so we’re both super-excited about this. I am glad to be bringing our brand of first-class service and awesome tunes to the Sunshine State.”

We’re so excited for CityWalk to get a new music venue. Orlando is lacking in its country music scene, so a new venue would mean more country music! Plus CityWalk is a very convenient area compared to more out-of-the-way venues. Stay tuned to Disney Food Blog for more Universal news!
