It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No! It’s two classic Disney characters!

If you’ve ever wanted to see Peter Pan and Wendy fly off to Neverland, it’s time you head over to the Magic Kingdom! Disney recently announced that Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, the park’s nighttime parade, has undergone a massive change. Luckily for us, this change is a pretty exciting one!
Peter Pan and Wendy have taken flight in the Magic Kingdom! Disney shared that the two soared above the crowds over on social media, and we feel like we’re dreaming.

In a TikTok video, the company shared that all it took was a little faith, trust, and pixie dust. Duh, that’s the classic formula! The two circled around each other, flying throughout the parade. They soared just below the second star to the right, and just above London. You can see the full video here.
When Disney first released concept art, it did look like Peter and Wendy might take flight, but we all know that concept art isn’t concrete, especially when it comes to new Disney projects. It’s so cool to see how this has come to life! The float looks just like the art now.

The nighttime parade is one that we absolutely adore in the park! If you want to see the characters take flight, you can catch the parade twice at night at 8:15PM and 10:30PM most nights. Starting April 13th, the parade will move to one show time at 8:30PM Monday through Thursday, and twice per night at 8:30 and 10:30PM on Friday and Saturday.
Disney Starlight — Peter Pan Float
The parade starts off on Main Street, U.S.A., before making its way to Frontierland, so it’s the reverse of Disney’s other parade, Festival of Fantasy. This parade features appearances from the Blue Fairy, Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Mirabel and Bruno from Encanto, Moana, and more!

Disney Starlight
This parade is full of classic and new Disney characters, and it really does light up the night sky. We thought we couldn’t love it any more than we already do, but then Peter Pan and Wendy took flight. Call us happy parade people!
