From laws on food delivery to rental cars, here’s everything you need to know if you’re traveling to California soon.
Food delivery services like Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Postmates will now be required to provide a full refund to customers if their order is not delivered or if the wrong order is delivered. They must also provide customer service support with actual people to resolve requests for refunds.

They are also banned from using tips or gratuity to offset the base pay of the delivery driver and require clear itemized pay breakdowns.
Rental Cars at Orlando International Airport
Rental car companies are no longer required to provide customers with a good-faith estimate of the total charges, including taxes and fees, on a price quote for a reservation. Under the new law, they must also disclose whether the vehicles are gas-powered or electric.

This law now allows open-kitchen restaurants to have windows, folding doors, or a non-fixed storefront to give restaurant owners greater flexibility in providing outdoor premises. Sounds like more opportunities to enjoy the California weather!
