Airplane schedules change frequently, and if you’re heading to Florida, keeping track can be a hassle. Good news sometimes comes in the form of more nonstop flights to Orlando International Airport, simplifying visits to Disney World and Universal Orlando. However, JetBlue has recently cut flights to two airports, including Tampa.

TheStreet.com reports that JetBlue will stop its twice-daily flights between Newark and Tampa from December 1st. So, if you're planning a trip to Tampa from Newark after this date, you might need to choose a different airline.

JetBlue is reevaluating routes due to low travel demand and revenue shortfalls. In addition to Tampa, cuts also include routes to Baltimore, Charlotte, and Bogota, Colombia. On a brighter note, the Tampa route is set to resume in April 2026 for spring break and summer travel.
If you’ve already booked a flight with JetBlue on affected dates, you should receive an automatic refund, even though JetBlue has not officially confirmed these cuts. For some fare classes, you may need to submit a claim on JetBlue’s website.
