Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has been one of Disney World’s busiest rides pretty much since the day it opened. Suffice to say, the ride is especially busy during the holiday season, AKA the resort’s busiest time of the year.

So, if you’re heading to Disney World in December, how much is a Lightning Lane Single Pass for the immensely popular coaster going to cost you? Well, history can be our guide…
Before we begin, though, a quick refresher on Lightning Lane Single Pass: The option allows guests to purchase passes for the park’s most in-demand attractions, which aren’t available with Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Single Passes are eligible to be purchased at the same time as their Multi Pass equivalents, so seven days in advance of their stay for Disney hotel guests and three days in advance for non-hotel guests.

So, to begin theorizing on how much Lightning Lane Single Passes will cost for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in December of 2026, we have to (appropriately enough given this ride) time travel back to 2025. Specifically, June and July of 2025, when our data shows that the passes ranged from $16 to $18 depending on the day.

Let’s move to December of 2025, when prices ranged from $20 to $22 a pass. So, that means that December’s holiday season prices were about $4 more than the June/July prices. That brings us to the present, June/July of 2026.

Over the last two months, the prices have ranged from $18 to $20. So, using the 2025 metric of a $4 increase from June/July, the 2026 price will likely be in the $22-$24 range. Of course, this is dependent on Disney using the same pricing structure and increases as 2025, which is not a guarantee.

Furthermore, guests visiting close to the Christmas and New Year’s Holidays should note that in 2025, December 21st-31st held the highest price straight through until the end of the year, so we’d expect that period to have the highest price in 2026 as well.
