The International Flower & Garden Festival kicked off recently with an array of food booths and new eats and drinks, but now, a World Showcase restaurant is getting a seasonal spring menu. That’s right, we’re getting some NEW flavors at Takumi-Tei in the Japan Pavilion!
If you have any background knowledge of Takumi-Tei at EPCOT, you may know that the restaurant offers a two-hour omakase dining experience, which is perfect for a special occasion or a treat-yo-self trip. Each season, the menu for the omakase experience changes, and now, they’ve got new spring items to offer.
Takumi-Tei
Disney has shared the menu offerings for spring, and we’ve got the full spread to show. When you come here, you have the choice between the full omakase menu, with a vegetarian option, as well as a semi-course menu for a slightly lighter experience. The full menu is seven separate courses.

For the first course of the meal, you have the Ichiju Sansai, which comes with three seasonal dishes. Those are:

The second course is the chilled seasonal appetizer, which includes a Charcoal-Grilled Razor Clam & Tataki-Style Spanish Mackerel. It’s served IN a clamshell, so it really stands out.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a meal without beverages! There are wine and sake pairings designed to go with each dish, as well as cocktail options and sparkling water imported from Japan. It’s up to you to decide what you’d like to drink!
