Universal Orlando Resort is having an amazing year! Earlier this May, they launched a brand-new theme park, Universal Epic Universe, which has been a hit thanks to its popular themes, unique rides, and surprisingly tasty park food. Excitingly, Epic Universe received multiple accolades from the Golden Ticket Awards.
Universal Orlando nabbed five Golden Ticket Awards in total. Karen Irwin, the resort’s President and COO, expressed pride in delivering top-notch, innovative experiences. It’s a true testament to their dedication and hard work.
Volcano Bay took home the award for Best Water Park, being the first new winner in this category in 26 years. Known for its immersive theme, tech integration, and thrilling attractions, it’s a fan favorite in Central Florida.
Epic Universe didn’t hold back either, claiming awards in four categories. Stardust Racers in Celestial Park won Best New Coaster, known for its adrenaline-pumping speeds of up to 62 mph. Meanwhile, Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment grabbed Best New Dark Ride for its impressive animatronics and queue. Darkmoor, the eerie Dark Universe setting, picked up Best New Theme Concept. Lastly, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry won Best New Attraction Installation and is expected to be a park favorite with its long wait times.
