EPCOT boasts some of Disney World's top dining spots, making it a priority for many diners eager to make reservations. With such a vast array of culinary options, deciding where to eat and spend money can be overwhelming.

However, not every eatery hits the mark at EPCOT. [Coral Reef](https://www.disneyfoodblog.com/coral-reef-restaurant/) often receives mixed reviews, primarily due to inconsistent service and the unusual experience of eating fish while overlooking a tank full of them, which can be a bit morbid or "fishy." We've also noticed a major shift in its operations—reservations are blocked out entirely for December, despite the restaurant showing normal hours of operation. This change leaves us wondering about the potential impact on Coral Reef's future availability.

Come January 4th, 2026, lunch reservations are disappearing, with only dinner slots available. This remains the status quo until January 15th, causing concerns about the availability of lunch reservations going forward, though no official word from Disney has confirmed this yet.

So, do you think this bodes well for Coral Reef, or should Disney rethink their strategy? Share your thoughts! And for more EPCOT updates, keep an eye out for more posts from us.
