Attention 80s lovers: Strap in and prepare for an adrenaline rush! A Top Gun-inspired attraction is taking off in Las Vegas, promising to wow fans with thrills and nostalgia alike.
The iconic Top Gun movie and Top Gun: Maverick sequel have inspired a multilevel adventure crafted by Advent Allen Entertainment. Expect a “Hard Deck” eatery and bar, exciting interactive zones, and a breathtaking flight-themed ride blending movie-like storytelling and cutting-edge tech—guaranteed to match the cinematic intensity of the films.
Marie Marks, VP at Paramount Global Experiences, highlighted the project by saying, “At Paramount, we aim for exceptional real-world experiences with our stories. The passion and respect for the Top Gun series from Mark and Bill are inspiring, and our design collaboration with Advent Allen has resulted in an iconic experience. Each detail captures the action, emotion, and authenticity defining the Top Gun saga.”
Partnering with Simtec Systems GmbH, known for design excellence, the attraction is set to push entertainment limits. Mark Advent expressed excitement over the collaboration, noting the importance of selecting the perfect partner to bring this captivating vision to life.
Although it wouldn’t be the first ride inspired by Top Gun—the '90s saw a coaster in California’s Great America (back when Paramount had parks)—this new ambitious project is projected to open in 2028, with thoughts of expanding to Orlando in the future.
